LWV Candidate Forum at Ridgefield Library for CT State Legislature on Tuesday, Sept. 27

Ridgefield League of Women Voters Candidates' Forum for the CT State Legislature on Tuesday, September 27 beginning at 7 pm at the Ridgefield Library.

Election Day is November 8th. Candidates running for the CT State Legislature representing Ridgefield from State Senate Districts 24 and 26 and State House Districts 111 and 42 will participate in a Candidates Forum on Tuesday, September 27 at 7 pm at the Ridgefield Library (472 Main Street).

This event is co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Ridgefield and the Ridgefield Library.

Members of the public who attend the Forum may submit questions on League-provided index cards on the day of the Forum (9/27/22) between 6:15 pm and 6:50 pm.

Questions submitted must be brief, of general interest to the audience, directed to all candidates and cannot be about personal matters. Questions will be included at the discretion of the moderator who decides which questions will be asked.

Candidates who will be present include:

- Keith Denning (D) and Kim Healy (R) running for the 42nd House District

- Aimee Berger-Girvalo (D) and Robert Hebert (R) for the 111th House District

- Michelle Coelho (R) and Julie Kushner (D) running for the 24th Senate District

- Toni Boucher (R) Ceci Maher (D) for the 26th Senate District

The candidates will answer questions and share their views on important topics with voters.

All participants are expected to conduct themselves with dignity and treat all those present with respect, empathy and civility.
