New Shows and FREE Film Screenings Added at The Ridgefield Playhouse!

The Ridgefield Playhouse has added more shows to their line-up, including the continuation of the Aquarion Water CompanyFREE Diversity Film Series.

Add a touch of magic to your holiday season with The Nutcracker: Presented By The Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance, with 5 performances from December 9 – 11. In a magical land where sugarplums dance and flowers waltz to tell the classic tale of a young girl and her Nutcracker Prince, Tchaikovsky’s soaring score, graceful ballerinas, wooden soldiers who come to life and a bigger-than-life Christmas tree will make the holidays bright for young and old! Then on Thurs, January 19 at 8pm comes The Second City Swipes Right: An Incomplete Guide to the Ultimate Date Night. Calling all Deadheads! On Sat, March 18 at 8pm is Dead On Live - '70 - '74: The Sam Cutler Years. Multi-instrumentalist Marc Muller directs a Note For Note celebration capturing important and beloved periods of the Grateful Dead’s illustrious, and stylistically diverse career. Also announced today were the films screening in 2023’s Aquarion Water Company Diversity Film Series. Each screening will include unique bonus content consisting of an interview led by entertainment reporter Cheryl Washington and can be seen following the screening in the theater or on our YouTube channel.

 

Selma on Wed, February 8 at 7:30pm in recognition of Black History Month.

The bonus content for Selma will consist of an interview with Karen Boykin-Towns, Vice Chairman of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Board of Directors.
