Light displays will be available for the public to enjoy from their vehicles between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. December 9-18. Viewers can then vote for their favorite(s) by making a donation to Founders Hall’s diverse program of social, educational and physical fitness programs for today’s active seniors. The contestant receiving the largest value in monetary donations will be declared the Light Fight winner. Results will be announced on December 19 at the winning location.

All Ridgefield residents and businesses are eligible to participate if the location is easily viewed from the road. There is no fee to enter the contest or to view the holiday lights. A minimum of a $25 donation is required to vote on the Founders Hall website.

The event, inspired and brought to light in 2020, offers residents and business owners an opportunity to “deck the halls” and spread holiday cheer and goodwill, while observing appropriate safety measures amid pandemic concerns.

“We’re excited to bring this event back to the community for the third year as we prepare to enter our third decade,” said Cindy Nesbitt, Director of Development with Founders Hall. “The creativity behind the light displays makes the experience magical--and really encapsulates the season. Plus, families can enjoy the lights together while supporting a great cause.”

The entry form, required waiver, and contest rules are available at founders-hall.org. Thank you to our lead sponsor, Fairfield County Bank, and to our media sponsor, HamletHub.
