Ridgefield 6th Grader to Flip Ceremonial Switch to Lightup Downtown, Ira Joe Fisher to Emcee Holiday Tree Lighting TONIGHT!

Are you ready, Ridgefield? Merry and BRIGHT days are ahead! Our community will welcome the holiday season at the Annual Tree Lighting this Friday evening, November 25 beginning at 6pm on the steps of Town Hall.

We are thrilled to report that the one and only Ira Joe Fisher is BACK as this year's jolly emcee! We are also happy to announce that 6th grade Scotts Ridge Middle School student Anna Yang will do the honors of flipping the ceremonial switch to light up the downtown area!

As in years past, Santa and Mrs. Claus are expected to arrive by fire truck and will meet and greet their fans on the patio of the new Deborah Ann's Sweet Shoppe.

The town doesn't sparkle without the hard work of so many including Mike Raduazzo and Boy Scout Troop 431 who (once again) are testing thousands of lights assuring our trees in downtown Ridgefield light up with brilliance! Thank you!

The holiday magic continues Friday, December 2 at 6:00 pm and Saturday, December 3, 2022 with the Holiday Stroll!
