Ellen Schiffman's new solo show of recent work is titled, "Embrace the Journey" and will be on view at the Ridgefield Library from December 1 through December 31 during regular Library hours.
The exhibition reflects a rich vein of artwork that Schiffman created during the pandemic. Replacing her "canceled events" due to Covid, she filled her time and experimented with new techniques such as painting, weaving paper pieces, and assembling collages.
Schiffman has been a professional artist for almost 30 years, exhibiting her work in shows, galleries and museums nationwide. Her artwork reflects a fascination with texture, pattern, color and sculptural forms.
There will be an Opening Reception for her show at the Library on Saturday, 12/3 from 2:00-4:00 pm. Join us!
