This weekend, do some good and have some laughs at The Ridgefield Playhouse! To get you in the spirit of the season and giving back, they are presenting a screening of the holiday classic Elf starring Will Ferrell on Fri, December 2 at 8pm. The evening also includes their 2nd Annual Holiday Food Drive & Ugly Sweater Party!
After Ridgefield’s annual Holiday Stroll, head over to The Playhouse in your most hideous holiday sweater for the chance to win free concessions for the night (2 candy, 1 large popcorn, 2 large sodas)! And don’t forget to bring canned goods to support our holiday food drive for Ridgefield’s own, Meals on Wheels.
By bringing FIVE canned or dry items for the food drive, you’ll enjoy a free ticket to the screening! Don’t Be a Cotton-Headed Ninnymuggins – reserve your seats now to join in the holiday fun and to see Will Ferrell on the big screen in one of the most beloved holiday movies of all time!
Meals on Wheels has been providing nourishment to any Ridgefield resident who cannot prepare their own meals: the elderly, disabled and infirm, even those with short term needs such as recovery from surgery or illness. They have no age or income restrictions and all meals are free of charge. Please note, they are not a food pantry and have an approved list of food items they need to help prepare meals. We encourage you to click here for the Meals on Wheels approved donations list and help support this wonderful cause.
This event is part of the Playhouse’s Xfinity Family Series and Cohen and Wolf P.C. Movie Series.
