On Wed, February 8 at 7:30pm, don’t miss a FREE screening of Selma in honor of Black History month. The movie is part of the Diversity Film Series, available free to the community thanks to the sponsorship of Aquarion Water Company.

Ava DuVernay directs this award winning historical drama, which chronicles the tumultuous three-month period in 1965, when Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (David Oyelowo) led a dangerous campaign to secure equal voting rights in the face of violent opposition.

The bonus content for Selma will consist of an interview with Karen Boykin-Towns, Vice Chairman of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Board of Directors, led by entertainment reporter Cheryl Washington. This can be seen following the screening in the theater or on our YouTube channel.
