TOMORROW NIGHT! Sat, April 1 at 8pm it’s *SOLD OUT* Get the Led Out, a celebration of “The Mighty Zep.” They return to the Playhouse stage after multiple sold out shows! And on Sun, April 2 at 7pm, it’s *SOLD OUT* Fran Lebowitz – A Conversation with a Cultural Icon. After a previously sold out show, the Queen of “tell it like it is” returns to the Playhouse! Enjoy this live on-stage interview with CNN’s SE Cupp – followed by a Q&A with Fran! There will be a book signing with Fran in the lobby following the event. Copies of “The Fran Lebowitz Reader” will be available for purchase. Leo Kottke on Tues, June 13 at 7:30pm
Guitar wizard Leo Kottke has been enthralling audiences since the 1960’s, with his signature open tuning fingerpicking style that draws on blues, jazz and folk styles. Kottke has amassed a dedicated fanbase around the world, been nominated for multiple Grammy Awards, and released three duo records with Phish’s Mike Gordon. His collaborations with Gordon, one of which was produced by David Z (Prince), exposed Kottke to an entirely new generation of fans, propelling his career past year 60! An Evening with Andy Summers of The Police: The Cracked Lens + A Missing String on Sun, July 23 at 7:30pm
Andy Summers rose to fame in the early 1980’s as the guitarist with the multi-million record selling rock band The Police. For the first time on stage, Andy Summers offers up a glimpse into his fascinating career with this solo performance featuring music, stories and his photography, which has been exhibited everywhere from Rio de Janeiro to Shanghai. The Disco Nights on Thurs, Aug 3 at 8pm
From the producers of Back to The Eighties Show with Jessie's Girl, comes Disco Nights! Get ready to be transported back to Studio 54! From the Bee Gees, to Gloria Gaynor, to Donna Summer, Chic, and so much more, it’s Saturday Night Fever all over again! Stacked with top notch musicians led by Musical Director and Billboard charting superstar JJ Sansaverino on guitar, the band plays almost note for note recreations of the Disco era’s biggest hits – of course while in costume.
