Join in a favorite traditional community event — a tribute to Children’s Librarian, Susan Ei, on Pequot Library’s one-of-a-kind Great Lawn! Hamburgers, hot dogs, and veggie burgers will be smoking on the grill while The Merwin Mountain Band plays live music. Take part in lawn games galore, roast s’mores around the campfire, and sneak a peek at the night sky through the library telescope. Come for any part of the evening, or pitch your tent and camp all night. Remember to bring a pillow for the Big Pillow Fight!

Based on the seminal 1980 hit movie set in the late 1970s with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick, this hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic. Pushed to the boiling point, three female coworkers concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot they call their boss. Running on weekends through July 9th.

Cultural Alliance member, the Greater Connecticut Youth Orchestras’ Jazz Orchestra, opens for the Quartet. Arrive early to explore MoCA's galleries and to purchase delicious food and drinks!

The evening takes on a Latin flair with the addition of the Estaciones Porteñas (Four Seasons of Buenos Aires) to round out the program.
