Sunset Wine Party is hosting its fourth Ridgefield event: a festive, upscale wine-tasting evening at the gorgeous Lounsbury House on Friday, October 20th, 2023. All net proceeds benefit ArtFul, a local non-profit that supports resident artists, providing them with the means to carry out their artistic pursuits.
The Presenting Sponsor of the event is Ancona’s Wines and Liquors.
The fall event offers ticketed guests an opportunity to learn about and taste an amazing selection of over 70 wines at the MINI of Fairfield County Grand Wine Tasting Room, all curated by well-known local proprietor, Ancona’s Wines and Liquors. Knowledgeable wine experts will be on hand to tell the stories and subtleties behind each bottle of the various wine selections poured throughout the night.
Guests may also indulge in decadent, gourmet bites offered in grazing boards sponsored by The Chefs’ Warehouse and crafted by Four Forks. They will also be able to get full glasses of Red, White and Rosé wines at the By the Glass Bars located in the HamletHub Tasting Room and the Peggy Marconi of Compass Tasting Room, all while enjoying great DJ music.

Exclusive limited tickets to the fourth Ridgefield event are available for purchase right now. General Admission is $70 per ticket ($85 at the door). All Access Passes allow guests to arrive an hour early at 6 p.m., to explore all wines before the crowd comes in as well as an exclusive check in line. All Access Admission tickets are $95 per person ($110 at the door).

Sunset Wine Party was created by Connecticut-based wine connoisseur, Paula Alonso, who wanted to share her passion for wine and bring people together while raising money for important local causes. Alonso has been producing wine events in the region for over eight years working with high end wine retailers such as Ancona’s Wines and Liquors and DB Fine Wines and even going so far as to help create the Sommlike web app, an online marketplace that leverages the community pull of sommeliers and wine experts to curate wine collections and share through wine tasting events, newsletters and social media channels.
