Whip Salon Ridgefield Turns 7!

On Wednesday, October 4th Whip Salon will celebrate its anniversary in the Ridgefield salon at 23 Governor Street. All are invited to stop by for complimentary drinks, raffle prizes, and swag giveaways. The celebratory event will include beauty stations where you can learn more about Whip Salon’s unique brand of products.
All clients that visit the salon October 1st - 4th will automatically be included in a raffle to win a $100 gift certificate and product basket too.
Ridgefield resident Amy Pal launched the first Whip Salon location right here in Ridgefield in October of 2016. Seven years later, the salon chain boasts seven locations across two states and is poised for more growth in the year ahead.

Amy Pal says she saw an opportunity to create a new kind of salon experience from the client’s perspective with a hyper-focus on client satisfaction. Although she is not a cosmetologist herself and has never worked “behind the chair”, Pal set out to develop a salon culture that would attract talented stylists to flourish with her support and systems.
“I can definitely say with confidence that I’m in the less than 1% of salon owners that are not cosmetologists themselves, but I think that’s to our advantage,” said Pal. “I pride myself on partnering with the most talented team of stylists around, who are fiercely passionate about delivering the very best every time. Their passion and knowledge combined with our hospitality team’s efforts ensure that we deliver an experience that clients love and keeps them returning. I’m lucky to be working with such a fantastic group of people - seven years have flown by.”
Whip Salon works hard to deliver an unparalleled experience with unique events such as “Theme Days” where the stylists will dress according to an organized theme. Most recently for a Rock n Roll theme day, stylists wore rock-influenced style and enjoyed a classic rock curated playlist across all locations. The salon also holds “Hair Raisers” which is an event in which the salon will donate a portion of the sales to a non-profit organization that holds meaning to a team member or client. Their next one will be held on October 8th in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, 10% of service sales across all CT salons will go to Ann’s Place of Danbury.
2023 has been a busy year for Whip Salon. Earlier this year, the Salon was named to the SALON TODAY 200 by SALON TODAY, the leading business media for salon and spa owners. It was the fourth consecutive year in a row being recognized as one of the top 200 salons in the country. This summer two new Whip Salon locations were introduced: Avon, Connecticut in June and in Bluffton, South Carolina in August.
