Candidate Endorsement: Ridgefield needs Tina Malhotra to continue serving on the BOE

Candidate Endorsement from Margaret Stamatis

Tina has spent more than a decade of volunteer service on town commissions and community organizations, focused on Ridgefield’s youth and schools.  She was born and educated internationally. Her track record of consensus-building and action, along with business acumen, inform her excellent service on the BOE.  Tina has a wide network of relationships with Ridgefield community members representing varying perspectives, and she is a “questioner” by nature.

During Tina’s current service on the Board of Education she has been a voice for Ridgefield families and staff.  Through her years volunteering in the schools, and her strong relationships with families, she understands the real-life implications of the BOE’s policy decisions. Typically, she’s the first to raise her hand during Board meetings.

I support Tina because we need her critical thinking, decisiveness, and her deep knowledge of our community, along with her global perspective and ability as a consensus maker.
