Our Police Commission needs Sharon Dornfeld elected on November 2nd. She is the only candidate with real legal experience working with Police, courts, kids, citizens and other authorities. She is sensitive to personnel matters, community matters and the practicalities of our town's needs.
Her decades of legal practice and advocacy for youth and on the Ridgefield Alcohol and Drug Use Commission demonstrates sensitivity to community issues and the front line realities. As the Assistant Corporation Counsel for Conflicts for Danbury, she's worked on municipal law issues--the only candidate with municipal experience. As Ridgefield's Parking Violations Appeals Officer and the Town Meeting Moderator, she has interfaced with hundreds if not thousands, of our residents who express opinions, concerns, and yes, who appeal their tickets.
She knows how to contribute thoughtfully to dialogue and how to ask penetrating questions to get at real answers and solutions. As we consider building and personnel initiatives, look at budgets and smart solutions for Ridgefield, Sharon Dornfeld will be the intelligent, committed and skilled Police Commissioner we need.
Wonderfully, her 40 year residence hasn't dimmed her willingness to work and contribute to the town we love. Please vote for Sharon Dornfeld for Police Commission on November 2nd or on your Absentee Ballot.
