17 Halo Award Nominations for Cinderella and The Children’s Hour at RHS

The Ridgefield High School 2017-18 productions of the musical Cinderella and drama The Children’s Hour were recognized by the 15th Annual Halo Awards with a combined 17 nominations. The Halo Awards for high school theatre in Connecticut will be presented at the Palace Theatre in Waterbury on May 30. Cinderella was nominated for Best Contemporary Musical and Best Orchestra, and The Children’s Hour for Best Classical Play. Each of the shows received the leading actor and actress nominations in its category: Annabel Briody (Ella) and Owen Gaydos (Topher) for Cinderella, and Eleanor Andresen (Karen Wright) and Evan Smolin (Dr. Joseph Cardin) for The Children’s Hour.
