The Woman's Hour: The Great Fight to Win the Vote by Elaine Weiss will be read and discussed throughout the Ridgefield community during 2020, as part of the First Principles Book Club and Votes For Women: Ridgefield Celebrates the 19th Amendment series.

There will be many opportunities to discuss The Woman’s Hour with other readers at various discussions hosted by organizations including, Ridgefield Library, Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center, Ridgefield Historical Society, League of Women Voters of Ridgefield, Founders Hall and more.  Also, don’t miss author Elaine Weiss, who will be speaking at the Library on Sunday, April 19, 2020 about the suffrage movement and the political infighting and intrigue that went along with the passage of the 19th Amendment.
