Robert A. Sharkany, 83, of Ridgefield, formerly of East Norwalk, CT, husband of Gloria (Lavatori) Sharkany, died on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Laurel Ridge Health Care Center, Ridgefield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 10:15 am in St. Mary Catholic Church, Ridgefield. Burial will take place in St. Mary Cemetery, Ridgefield in the spring. The family will receive friends in the Kane Funeral Hoe, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield on Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 5pm to 8pm.
