Twelve RHS Students named National Merit Finalists

Congratulations to the twelve 2017 Ridgefield High School National Merit Finalists!

These students have been recognized and honored by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) as the academically talented students of the United States. All winners of scholarships will be notified later in the year.

According to the National Merit Scholarship Corporation website, semifinalists must fulfill several requirements to become finalists, including completing an application, having a consistently very high academic record, writing an essay, being endorsed and recommended by a school official, and taking the SAT® and earning a score that confirms the PSAT/NMSQT performance.
