Seasoned Restaurateur to Open Red Rooster Pub in Former Toscana Location

Two decades after Tony Ramadani opened Mirabella at 43 Danbury Road in Ridgefield, the seasoned restaurateur is back in his old stomping ground preparing to bring the community American comfort food.

Enter Red Rooster Pub.

"I've come full circle - I'm back!" says Ramadani, who owns sister restaurant, Red Rooster Pub in Newtown, as well as Max 40 in Danbury and Portofino in Wilton.

Construction is underway and Ramadani is transforming the former Toscana restaurant into a rustic-style family eatery boasting distressed wood, horse barn doors, old beams, and a new, open floor plan. "There's a lot of love to give!" Ramadani says as he when describes the inviting atmosphere and vibe of the new restaurant.

Ramadani is planning a late fall opening for Red Rooster Pub.
