Beginning on Tuesday, March 6, RVNA will present "Feed Your Heart," a 4-week nutrition class devoted to heart health. Participants will explore different diet strategies known to prevent heart disease, and learn how to determine which one is right for them.
The series will be led by RVNA’s Registered Dietitian and Nutrition Educator, Meg Whitbeck, MS, RDN. “Many people don't realize that a few diet and lifestyle changes can radically improve their heart health and boost their overall wellness,” says Whitbeck. “Participants should come ready to get pumped about feeding their hearts – and their whole body – right."
"Feed Your Heart" will be held in the state-of-the-art teaching kitchen at RVNA's Center for Exceptional Care, 27 Governor Street in Ridgefield. Through weekly cooking demonstrations, resources, recipes, and tastings, participants will gain the knowledge they need to map out their personal path to a healthy heart.
