Thrown Stone is proud to welcome back three very special student professionals for our second season.
JACQUI
After spending last summer as Assistant Stage Manager for the U.S. Premiere of Milk by Ross Dunsmore, Jacqueline Holzberger returns to Thrown Stone as both ASM and Assistant Lighting Designer on The Arsonists and Where All Good Rabbits Go. Jacqui is a graduating senior at St. Luke’s School in New Canaan, and will attend Boston University in the fall.
“Working with Thrown Stone has allowed me to further my understanding of professional theatre and fully ignited my passion to pursue theatre in the future,” says Holzberger, “I’m extremely lucky and excited to work with them again this year and can’t wait to see what the audience thinks!”
CHLOE
Chloe Kekedjian, another St. Luke’s senior, returns to Thrown Stone as Production Stage Manager for The Arsonists, after her stellar turn as PSM for Milk.
Chloe has been admitted to Georgetown University and plans to double-major in Biochemistry and Government. “My experience at Thrown Stone has been amazing,” says Kekedjian, “I’ve gotten to work with talented and experienced actors, directors and technicians who have treated me as their peer and taught me a lot about the world of professional theatre.”
AIDAN
The multi-talented Aidan Meachem (Ridgefield High School, 2017) returns to Thrown Stone after starring as Ash in for Milk to compose the score for Where All Good Rabbits Go. Aidan is currently studying composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Thrown Stone is proud to welcome all three of these young artists back for their second seasons with the company, and we’re excited to announce a talented newcomer:
GABBY
Gabrielle Mitchell, another member of St. Luke’s talented class of 2018, joins Thrown Stone this season as Production Stage Manager for Where All Good Rabbits Go. Gabby has worked on numerous productions at SLS, and is excited to work on her first professional production before enrolling in college this fall. She has big choices ahead of her, with acceptance letters from Georgetown, Northwestern, Notre Dame, and Dartmouth.
“I have never been more excited to work with a professional theater company that is willing to give me, a high schooler, the opportunity to improve my skills and see high quality work in action,” says Mitchell.
Thrown Stone Co-Artistic Director Jason Peck added, “I am excited that all of the young artists who we worked with last summer have come back and looking forward to welcoming new theatrical artists to the Thrown Stone family. We pride ourselves on giving young artists a professional experience (for many of them their first) in an environment where they are free to grow, learn, and thrive.”
