4th of July Watermelon Fest at Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center a Great Success

Over 600 people came to Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center's 4th of July Watermelon Fest to join in the 3rd annual celebration of the birth of our nation. The celebration included a reading of the Declaration of Independence by Mark Blandford (left) and the ceremonial slicing of a watermelon by Don Daughters (right). There were also crafts and games, museum tours, live music, free watermelon, and a dunk tank, where visitors could try to dunk King George III.
