All-Star Week at the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield summer camp was filled with special events this year! On the heels of Wiffle ball game with Ridgefield Police, the Club had a special visit from the Connecticut State Police Trooper 1 Helicopter! The helicopter landed on Ciuccoli Field yesterday afternoon.
“It was an amazing experience for all of our campers to not only watch Trooper 1 land and take off but also to view it up close, and hear first-hand from the Pilots,” said Mike Flynn, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield.
“Special thanks to our friend, State Representative John Frey for arranging the special visit and always thinking of the Club kids,” said Flynn, who also thanks Ridgefield Police and Fire Department for helping to coordinate the event.

Yesterday was the first time in 10 years that Trooper 1 made a visit to Ridgefield! "Thanks to Representative Frey!" said Flynn.
