Ridgefield Guild of Artists is pleased to present its 41st Annual Juried Exhibition, opening Saturday, September 22 with a reception from 4-6pm. This event is free and open to all. Denise Bibro of Denise Bibro Finae Art gallery in the Chelsea district of NYC was this year's juror. Of the 250+ entries, she selected 88 to be part of this year's show.
Her first impression: "When I arrived at the guild, I was thrilled with my reception from the staff and volunteers. There was a lot of good karma. Even more surprising was the quantity of genres and depth and girth of the works entered. Most exhibitions of this type are predominately painting, works on paper, and sculpture. These genres did not only include these mediums but in addition…assemblage, mixed media, ceramic, photography, etc. Ridgefield Guild of Artists is well worth the trip. It's a special place."
