Holiday Lights and Bucket Trucks Spotted in Downtown Ridgefield

Move over Halloween! Today, bucket trucks and long strings of lights were spotted on Main Street. Downtown Ridgefield will be sparkling soon. Ridgefield Tree Lighting is scheduled for Friday, November 23 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

One of the joys of the season in Ridgefield is our Annual Tree Lighting when hundreds of locals descend upon the downtown area for festive holiday song, a glimpse of Santa who arrives via fire truck, and a chance to see the trees sparkle.

It's best to arrive no later than 6:00 pm so you can enjoy festivities and prior to the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will once again settle into the “North Pole” tent to greet the children.

As always, Holiday Trust Fund is in need of funds to help with the hanging of the lights, the garlands for the lampposts and the electric costs ~ which have been sliced-in-half with the addition of LED lights.

If you can donate, please send a check to:
