Yesterday, February 19, while the children of Ridgefield were enjoying their last day of Winter Break, Ridgefield Public Schools were welcoming the new Superintendent Dr. William Collins on his first day in the district. Teachers and staff greeted him in the Ridgefield High School Students Center during a lunch break from their professional development workshops. Catered by Chartwells, the buffet lunch featured the inspiring music of RHS jazz band members, a few of whom were just back from performing at Disney World in Orlando Florida.
