NWS Issues Winter Weather Advisory for Interior Southern Connecticut Beginning at 3:00 pm Today Through 6:00 am Tomorrow
A weak area of low pressure will bring light snowfall to the region this afternoon, Wednesday, February 27 through the early tomorrow morning, Thursday, February 28.
Snow/Sleet/Ice:
- There is a moderate potential for a light accumulating snowfall across the entire area beginning this afternoon into early tomorrow.
- Total snowfall accumulations of 0.5 to 3 inches are likely. The highest totals are expected across interior southern Connecticut, where 2 to 3 inches of snow is forecast.
- Travel will become hazardous tonight due to a combination of poor visibility and slippery roads.
