Free Spring Fling Update: Win a Tesla, Grilled Cheese, Birdhouse Contest, and more!

It's just 12 days until Ridgefield Parks & Recreation's Free Spring Fling, and now we have a few updates:

Stop & Shop has sponsored our Grilled Cheese Station!

Stop by the Charter Oak 3 room for a complimentary sammie and soft drink, and say hello to Thrown Stone’s chefs! And thanks to the support of Jarlsberg, we'll also offer a special Grown-Up Grilled Cheese.

We’re having a birdhouse decorating contest!

Pick up your family's free birdhouse at our raffle table in Charter Oak 3, take it home, decorate it, and drop it off at Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance between 8-9:30am on Saturday, May 4. Everyone at the Spring Stroll will be invited to vote for their favorite that day, and the winners will be displayed at the Library during the run of Birds of North America.

Theatre Games in the Pine Room!

From 2:30-3:30 in the Pine Room, Cry It Out Director Gina Pulice leads rounds of Zip, Zap ZupKitty Wants a Corner, Scorpion, and a super-awesome improv game. Open to kids of all ages.

The free raffle is going to be epic!

Get your free raffle ticket at the Thrown Stone Grilled Cheese Station and enter to win fabulous prizes, including: Rec Center Memberships, Adam Broderick Massage for Mom & Dad, Thrown Stone Season Tickets, and of course, a Tesla Model S for Kids! Get a free raffle ticket at our raffle station in Charter Oak 3. Additional raffle tickets will be hidden for your kids to find in Inflatable Wacky World. The Drawing will take place at 4pm, and you must be present to win.

It all happens on Sunday, March 24 from 12:30 to 4:30pm at the Ridgefield Rec Center.
