Ridgefield’s Rid Litter Days Saturday, April 27 & Sunday, April 28
Rid Litter Days are this weekend. It is time to pick up litter on your adopted street and anywhere else you see it. If this weekend is not convenient, please do your clean up soon or you will be dealing with poison ivy! We always suggest you wear gloves and be careful about traffic on busy streets. Below is the specific information. Thanks for your help!Please do your part in keeping our Town beautiful. Pick up litter in your neighborhoods or anywhere you see it!! Encourage family, friends and neighbors to help.
Refuse bags and safety vests can be picked up at Parks & Recreation at 95 Danbury Road, Town Hall at 400 Main St, or the Chamber of Commerce office at 13 Grove St.
Drop off points for filled refuse bags are:
- Farmingville Elementary School, 324 Farmingville Road
- East Ridge Middle School, 10 East Ridge
- Ridgefield High School, 700 North Salem Road
- Branchville Elementary School, 40 Florida Road
- Parks and Rec Auxiliary Parking Lot, Danbury Rd (Near Bridge)
