CHIRP gears up for 2019 concert series, seeks donations

Just three short weeks until CHIRP begins its 18th season - bringing free community concerts to beautiful Ballard Park.

Kicking off the 2019 Concerts in the Park series is James Maddock on Tuesday, May 28.  A rock & roll lifer, James Maddock has been carving his unique path since the 1980s, when the British-born singer/songwriter kicked off his career with a raw, soulful voice; a storyteller’s sense of narrative; and the ability to blur the lines between folk, classic pop, and rock. Rain venue: Ridgefield Playhouse (RP) Underwritten in part by the law firm of Cohen & Wolfe, P.C

The full concert schedule is now available on CHIRP's website here

We've learned that many of the concerts in the second half of the season are not yet fully funded. "We need your contributions now, to make sure we can present them as scheduled," says CHIRP founder, Barbara Manners.

"We need small donations and large ones. Thank you to all those who have contributed to date. You make the concerts possible," says Manners.

Please send donations in the form of checks to CHIRP at Town Hall, 400 Main St., Ridgefield, CT 06877.

Visit CHIRP on Facebook HERE for up to date concert happenings.
