Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra Thanks Sponsors, Patrons and Friends for a Wonderful Season!

The Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra concluded the 2018-19 concert season on Saturday evening with a performance of Stravinsky’s exciting and powerful “The Rite of Spring” and it was a fitting finale for what has been a terrific season for the RSO!

“It truly was a great year of music!” says RSO Executive Director Laurie Kenagy. “But we couldn’t have done it without our community partners and individual supporters whose generosity makes our performances, and our outreach programs, possible. We also thank all those who attended our concerts and participated in our educational and community outreach programs.”

The RSO also announced the 2019-20 season at the concert on Saturday evening. The new season - entitled “American: An Exploration Through Music” - is sure to be engaging, entertaining and inspiring for all music lovers! The RSO also announces the organization’s annual meeting to be held on Monday, June 3rd at 6:30 PM at the Keeler Tavern Garden room. Music Director Yuga Cohler will discuss the upcoming season and there will be a musical performance by RSO musicians Suzanne Corey-Sahlin and Gunnar Sahlin. All RSO subscribers are invited to attend.

The Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra is a professional orchestra founded in 1964 with the mission to enrich the cultural life of the citizens of Ridgefield and surrounding communities by presenting orchestral concerts of the highest artistic quality. The RSO also strives to increase the appreciation for music through community involvement and educational programs for people of all ages and abilities.
