Flash Flood Warning Tonight, Flood Watch Until Tomorrow Morning

Wow! A fast and furious storm ripped through Ridgefield this afternoon leaving 52 Ridgefield Eversource customers without power (as of 6pm tonight) and flooding roadways. Power Out? Call 800-286-2000. The sky put on quite a show as evident in this photo by Birgitta Stone.

Local realtor Chip Neumann gave a shoutout to Pamby Motors on Facebook. When flooding took his vehicle by storm, Andy Pambianchi came to his rescue. "Thank you to Pamby motors, in particular, Andy Pambianchi. I was one of those that got stuck in the flash flood on South Street then stalled out on Farmingville road in a dangerous spot. With heavy rains lightning etc. Andy came right out and did not flinch and got me flat bedded out of there and back to their place. I really appreciate this family local business!"
