Ridgefield's new Town initiative, Compassionate Ridgefield, has a beautiful identity in the form of a logo, thanks to the generosity of local designer, Cynthia DiGiacomo who donated her time and talent - a true example of compassion at work!
The backdrop of Tiger Pride orange, with Ridgefield's landmark fountain in the center, is complete with the Charter for Compassion's signature infinity symbol.
A national movement anchored by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the Charter of Compassion was born in 2008 when Karen Armstrong won the TED Prize and made a wish: for help creating, launching and propagating a Charter for Compassion. Here at home, our mission is to encourage and promote programs and initiatives that foster and maintain a culture of compassionate success in Ridgefield.
