Potential for Several Inches of Snow in Ridgefield Sunday into Monday

It could be an extended Thanksgiving weekend for Connecticut residents as meteorologists track a storm system expected to approach our area Saturday night, November 30 and will impact the area with a wintry mix of precipitation Sunday and Monday. 

The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey and southeast New York.

Confidence is increasing in a slow-moving low-pressure system bringing snow and a wintry mix to the region Sunday, December 1 through Monday evening, December 2. According to the NWS, there is potential for several inches of snowfall during this time period, along with a wintry mix at times, causing significant travel impacts to the Sunday afternoon/evening through Monday night timeframe.
