Tech Recycling Day at Ridgefield Library
Bring your old phones, tablets, laptops, hard drives, PCs, Macs and other technology to the Main Program Room on the Lower Level at the Library between 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
Computer parts will be destroyed and then safely recycled. Other home electronics and appliances will be accepted for recycling, with the exception of large kitchen appliances and any device containing mercury. Secure recycling and final disposal provided by Newtech Recycling, Inc., an R2, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certified recycler that provides e-content recycling for the town of Ridgefield.
A $20 per item fee will be charged, with proceeds supporting RidgeCon 2020, the Library’s annual pop-culture celebration coming in August.
