Taste of Ridgefield 2020: Hundreds Come Hungry, Leave Happy and Support Local

The Rotary Club of Ridgefield's Taste of Ridgefield 2020: Hundreds Come Hungry, Leave Happy and Support Local

The 2020 Taste of Ridgefield, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Ridgefield and benefitting local charities, was bigger and better than ever today! After the first session, we learned from Rotary member Kristina Kelly that they were on track to break a record this year with funds raised and attendees (stay tuned).

More than thirty of Ridgefield’s finest restaurants and establishments, and a few from neighboring towns descended upon the Lounsbury House to showcase their culinary prowess. Newbies this year included Brick House Wood Fired Pizza which opened several months ago at 632 Danbury Road and Posa, located at 90 Danbury Road.

Hundreds of locals happily nibbled and sipped their way through Ridgefield's historic landmark while chatting with happy attendees. From gourmet pizza and decadent comfort food to exquisite French cuisine, signature favorites from Mexico and Italy, and American classics, Ridgefield has it all, and today, it was all under one roof!

Wines, craft beer and even margaritas complimented the "taste" thanks to Ancona's Wines & Liquors, Village Wines & Spirits, Cellar XV, Ridgefield Liquors, Tequila Escape, and Southwest Cafe. The event was made sweet by Ross Bread and Deborah Ann's Sweet Shoppe.

A special thank you to Fairfield County Bank, the event's premium sponsor and The Ridgefield Playhouse who gifted a ticket to see Seinfeld's John O'Hurley TONIGHT!
