Local Mom Suggests the Smiley Face Project

With four children of her own, a local mom understands how hard this entertaining/home-schooling/parenting can be during these anxious times. So she is taking inspiration from other towns and proposing a town-wide event to keep families active and engaged but at a social distance. Here's her idea:

"With our kids home for the foreseeable future and the weather getting warmer, let’s, as a town, give the kids a no-contact, fun, easy activity to enjoy: draw, color, paint, print out, make out of post-its - however you want to do it - a smiley face and put it your window. It’s an activity for kids to do and for others to enjoy. While kids are out for walks they can go on “smiley hunts” and see how many they can find.

Let’s put on a happy face!'

Share your smiley-faces on HamletHub's Facebook Page, tally your smiley counts and share with us, you can be social safely with these smiley faces!
