Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra: Since You Can't See Us, Hear Us!

During this time of extreme health concerns, resulting in restricted gatherings and cancelled performances, the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra has started a new series of email blasts called “Since you can’t see us, HEAR US!”.

“We are inviting friends and patrons to enjoy select past RSO performances as we look forward to bringing the community great live music again in the not too distant future.” says RSO Executive Director Laurie Kenagy. “A couple of times a week, we will send out a link to a piece we have performed in a past concert and provide information about the piece. After having to cancel our April concert, this idea arose as a way to continue to share our music during these challenging times and help our friends, patrons and community members stay connected to the RSO.”

The series started this week with Beethoven's Symphony No. 1 - a recording from the RSO's October 2018 concert at the Anne S. Richardson Auditorium under the direction of Maestro Yuga Cohler. If you would like to receive the email blasts with the music links and program notes, please go to ridgefieldsymphony.org and see “Join Our Mailing List” at the top of the homepage. The link and the program notes are also on the RSO website at “Enjoy the RSO!” under the “Concerts & Tickets” tab.

The Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra is a nonprofit professional orchestra founded in 1964 with the mission to enrich the cultural life of the citizens of Ridgefield and surrounding communities by presenting orchestral concerts of the highest artistic quality. The RSO also strives to increase the appreciation for music through community involvement and educational programs for people of all ages and abilities.
