Early Launch for Ridgefield Rotary's Fly the Colors to Bring Solidarity to Town, Country

Rotary Announces the 5th Annual Fly the Colors Program

The Rotary Club normally displays its flags in early May, before Memorial Day and takes them down after Veterans Day. This year, due to all the concerns surrounding the virus attack, we felt it would be appropriate to show our support for our country immediately.

Fly The Colors continues to grow with close to 500 Ridgefielders participating in 2019.

Thanks to Ridgefield’s support of this program, Rotary made a donation of $18,000 to the UCONN Foundation to support the experiential training in entrepreneurship for post – 9/11 veterans with disabilities. This group helps wounded veterans return to work and start their own businesses.

This Entrepreneurship Boot camp for veterans is cutting edge.

The flag program is an annual, subscription-based service. The first-year cost is $50 and it's $25 a year after. The proceeds benefit the veterans and their immediate families in the area. You can register and pay online.
