No Memorial Day Parade in Ridgefield but Veterans Will Not Be Forgotten Thanks to George Besse

While Ridgefield will be without its annual Memorial Day Parade, veterans will not be forgotten. George Besse Commander, Everett Ray Seymour Post 78 will pay tribute to veterans this Memorial Day by decorating their graves with a flag. "This will be done by Legionnaires without the assistance from the many public volunteers who help in the past, taking social distancing as a factor," Besse explained. He has promised that our 2021 Memorial Day Parade will be SPECTACULAR!

In downtown Ridgefield, American Flags line Main Street and patriotic banners hang on Town Hall along with a banner thanking our healthcare heroes - making us feel proud to live in this great Town and country.
