Bernard's Serves Hundreds of Meals to Powerless Ridgefielders

Powering up love (and homemade meals) because "Bernard's Cares"

Yesterday, Sarah and Bernard Bouissou, together with their girls, opened their hearts and kitchen at Bernard's restaurant, located at 20 West Lane, to feed locals who have been without power since Tuesday. They generously and graciously served about 250 meals!

A sign "Bernard's Cares" featured the menu items including homemade ravioli, mushroom risotto, fish, chicken, an array of salad, fresh garden vegetables and even sangria! Guests were welcome beginning at 4pm to pick up hot meals for their family. By 6:45pm, all of the food was gone and the Bouissou family was happy. "I love feeding people," Sarah told us. "It really felt good," she said.

Thank you for this extraordinary act of kindness. The community is beyond grateful.
