Currently, Main Street, the Firehouse, the Post Office, the CVS corridor and Ballard Green have all been restored. We still have 45% of the town without power. Police, fire and town personnel have been touring the town to make sure all damage has been reported.
We continue to pressure Eversource to bring more crews to help with restoration.
UNLESS YOU HAVE A DEATH WISH, PLEASE KEEP THE GENERATORS OUT OF THE GARAGE AND AWAY FROM THE HOUSE. WE CONTINUE TO GET CALLS OF GENERATOR MISUSE. FOLLOW MANUFACTURER’S DIRECTIONS.
