School is in session! How many students have opted for remote learning? How many are taking the bus to school? Can students switch back and forth from remote learning to in-person learning?
The August 24 Board of Education meeting was lengthy, but chock full of important information regarding Reopening. Below are a few highlights.
- The school staff meets collectively each Friday regarding COVID-19 data and work closely with Dr. Ahern.
- 675 children opted in the remote only option.
- A student must give the school principal 72 hours notice if they wish to make a shift either to remote only learning or in-person learning.
- There are approximately 1500 students are not taking a bus to school.
