Ridgefield Library's LYL Weekend Goes Virtual October 2 and October 3

LYL looks a little bit different this year! We are going virtual with a 48-hour online giving event beginning at 12 am on Friday, October 2nd through midnight on Saturday, October 3rd. Fairfield County Bank will match a portion of donations received during that time!

A Virtual Battle of the Books Friday, October 2nd at 7 pm Presented by the Ridgefield Library and Books on the Common

Cheer on these local and literary luminaries as they champion a book the love: Roz Chast & Patricia Marx, Mike Flynn, Stephen Schwartz, Judy Silver and Joel Third. Who will prevail? The Audience decides. Tickets are $10, include a chance to win a Reader’s Basket Door prize and can be purchased at: www.ridgefieldlibrary.org.

A Virtual Spooky Sing-A-Long With Nappy’s Shadow Puppets Saturday, October 3rd at 11 am

Celebrate LYL Weekend by joining puppeteer Jim Napolitano, known as Nappy's Puppets, in this shadow puppet adventure. Sing some silly Halloween songs and learn how to create and perform your own shadow theater. For families with children of all ages. Registration required at www.ridgefieldlibrary.org
