10 Days Remain to Sign Up for Ridgefield's Light Fight

Sign ups for the new, socially distant Founders Hall-iday Light Fight fundraiser will close at 11:59 pm on Sunday, November 1. Both Ridgefield residences and businesses are invited to compete in this holiday decorating contest.

There is no entry fee and your only obligation is to make sure your lights are on from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm during the contest dates, December 10 through 20. Founders Hall requires that light displays be easily visible from the road.

Founders Hall will publicize the addresses of the competitors, and the public will drive by each one during the contest dates. People can vote for their favorites online by donating to Founders Hall. Voting is optional and there is no ticket to buy to drive by the displays.

Join your friends and neighbors on Main Street, Norrans Ridge Drive, Stonecrest Road, Nod Road, Highview Drive, Haviland Road, West Lane and Bryon Avenue who have already signed up.

Founders Hall is a donor-supported education and recreation center for individuals are 60 and older. It provides social, educational and physical fitness programs in a warm, fun and stimulating atmosphere. Membership is free to Ridgefielders who are 60 or older and their spouse. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Founders Hall is currently holding classes and activities virtually and outside.

Do you have questions about the Light Fight? Contact Cindy Nesbitt, Director of Development, at Founders Hall at cindy@founders-hall.org or 203-431-7000.

Many thanks to Fairfield County Bank and Jenn and Ron Kubick for making this event possible.
