Ancona's Wine Specialist Kyle Martinez Sips and Chats About 2018 Chateau Auney L'Hermitage Graves Blanc

As the holidays draw nearer and nearer, I start thinking more about the wines that I can't wait to share with my family. Most commonly, we see grapes like Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, or Pinot Noir leading the pack by way of California or Burgundy.

The holiday stand out: 2018 Chateau Auney L'Hermitage Graves Blanc. Ancona's Wine Specialist Kyle Martinez says that this bottle offers something special and delicious with an interesting spin.

This certified organic white wine from Southwestern Bordeaux is comprised largely of Semillon, a grape that usually plays second fiddle to Sauvignon Blanc.

With a quarter of the cuvée aged in new oak, the wood and winemaking contribute a bit of decadence to the already rich, yet bright and decidedly aromatic wine.

A great value to begin with, the prices we're able to offer on the last, small lot of this vintage available are head-spinning.
