COVID-19 Ridgefield Business Impact Survey Open

How quickly is Ridgefield's economy bouncing back and what resources do local businesses and nonprofits need? Those are the questions leaders are asking as they work quickly to gauge Ridgefield's economic recovery.

Officials at the Economic & Community Development Commission released their latest survey Thursday to help inform town leaders about the pace of economic recovery and to pinpoint the resources needed by the business community. The survey will also help officials understand the types of issues they should advocate for, on behalf of the business community, in Hartford and in Washington.

Early data show that the outlook for Ridgefield businesses is slowly improving compared to June, with many businesses reporting modest upticks in revenue. Businesses that have embraced an online component to their operations are doing better than their counterparts.

Ridgefield-based businesses and nonprofits are asked to take the survey before it closes on January 31, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. ET.

The data collected is confidential and will be reported anonymously.
