The National Weather Service reports that the potential is increasing for accumulating snow impacting the area Thursday into Friday.
There is a Winter Storm Watch in effect from Thursday morning, February 18 through Friday afternoon, February 19.
* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches possible.
* WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey, southern Connecticut and southeast New York.
* WHEN...From Thursday morning through Friday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
