Let's Make the Ridgefield Pumpkin Festival Happen in 2021!
The Connecticut Giant Pumpkin Growers Club is seeking organizations to partner with to bring back the giant pumpkin weigh-off festival this September.
Due to COVID, the 2020 weigh-off was held without spectators. Although we had a great turnout of pumpkins and set an event record with 1954 pound giant pumpkin, we would like nothing better than to have the festival along with it for the entire town to enjoy in 2021 and make it better than ever!
We need your help to make this event happen! The theme would be fall/harvest. Vendors, animal displays, musical entertainment would be at the venue along with games and contests that are open to both kids and everyone. Sponsors would be brought on board to offset the costs of the event. 501c3 organizations are preferred. Individual volunteers are also welcome. Many hands make light work.
