Ridgefield First Selectman on COVID-19: Don't Let Your Guard Down

With the increase of COVID-19 cases in the country and the rapid spread of the Delta Variant, First Selectman Rudy Marconi reminds Ridgefield residents that this is the time to make sure they are using best practices for fighting the disease.

“Stay educated and don’t let your guard down,” says Marconi. “And please, if you are eligible for vaccination, get one. I thank the nearly18,000 Ridgefield residents who have been vaccinated so far. Vaccinating our eligible population who are not restricted due to medical reasons gives us a better chance of reducing the number of future new cases in Ridgefield.”

The following are Ridgefield’s latest COVID updates:

On Monday, the Connecticut Department of Public Health reported 15 new cases for Ridgefield over the three days since the previous report on Friday. (See chart here) Daily updates on all the statistics are reported on www.ridgefieldct.org, (click the Red Covid Banner for the latest COVID updates.)
