A warm breeze blowing, colorful leaves on the sidewalk, and the sunshine made for an absolutely beautiful day in downtown Ridgefield for the annual Fall in Love celebration!
Sponsored by Downtown Ridgefield Merchants, today's event was a reminder of how special our community is... face painting and balloon art for kids, Live Life to the Max book donation event in front of Books on the Common, Halloween window painting, Library "On the Wall" book sale, and scarecrows to admire (and vote for) are what make this one of the most beloved events of the year.
The scarecrows will remain on their posts for a few more weeks (thank you Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center) so if you missed today's fall celebration, plan a walk downtown soon so you can marvel at the creative scarecrows and cast a vote for your favorite. Voting closes at 11:59 p.m. on October 31. Learn more on KTMHC website here.
Thank you to the local merchants who offered sidewalk sales and specials today and to all of the residents who enjoyed "all the fall things" in downtown Ridgefield.
